I have never wanted to beat the crap out of a grandmother in my life until reading about Xavier's experience with his! That is just so wrong and my heart is bleeding for him, having had to endure that at such a young age. Anna Cortez has had her own shares of trouble and heartache. I'm not even sure we know the extent of it all yet. One things for sure, Michelle Valentine sure has me wrapped up in these characters and I can't wait to move on to book 2.Warning: this book does end in a cliffhanger, but no fear since book 2 has already been released.
