The characters grabbed ahold of my heart and didn't let go. Not your typical college romance. This book had a little bit of everything .. step-siblings who have a taboo relationship, brothers struggling to right a wrong from the past that can't possibly be righted, typical college shenanigans and teenagers growing into adults before your eyes page by page.
Being hurt by your childhood crush can be devastating, but suffering humiliation after what you felt could be your dreams coming true tends to having you seeing life through a whole new light. The lust and sexual tension between Caden and Summer leapt from the pages. Their banter and interactions became foreplay for when they'd finally admit to each other as well as their friends, family and classmates that what they felt was so much more.
