~ Review ~ This is War by Kennedy Fox

This is WarThis is War by Kennedy Fox
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The true definition of frenemies to lovers. Once friends, turned enemies whose relationship explodes when they come together both in the bedroom and out.
Travis King - best friend to Drew, Violet's brother, dirty talker extraordinaire and ladies' man who plays the field often. Will his past sexscapades come back to bite him in the keister?
Violet - sister to Drew, studious and avid reader. A young crush, changed by a moment in time, effects her outlook on life, love and especially Travis King.
There's a fine line between love and hate. Travis and Violet can't seem to figure out which side of the line they want to be on. They have a constant battle of wits and pranks that only seem to up the the sexual tension between the two. Until all bets are off, lust takes over and Violet experiences the best hate-bang she has ever experienced.
But then life begins to spiral. Secrets are kept, lies are told and nothing may ever be the same again.

One hell of an unexpected ending that really isn't an ending but a to be continued that leaves you hanging on to the edge of your seat and hoping beyond hope that the next book is being released sooner rather than later.

Some of my favorite quotes:
"I don't think you'll ever be able to handle me, princess."
"Let's break your record. You okay with that?"
"Took a little effort, but like I said, I have a one-hundred percent satisfaction guarantee."
"I knew you were hungry, Princess. But goddamn, you're a starving little vixen, aren't you?"
